California Workers’ Compensation Guide

About Claim Calculator Pro

Learn what Claim Calculator Pro is, what its California workers’ compensation estimator is designed to do, and how optional attorney consultations work.

Claim Calculator Pro is an educational California workers’ compensation claim-value estimator. It is designed to help injured workers organize important claim information and see a modeled estimate based on the answers they provide.

Why the site exists

Workers’ compensation claims can involve unfamiliar terms, different types of benefits, medical treatment questions, work restrictions, permanent disability, future medical care, and settlement choices. Claim Calculator Pro is intended to make those concepts easier to explore before a worker decides what to do next.

What the calculator is — and is not

The calculator uses reported injury, treatment, recovery, work-status, and additional-condition information to generate an educational estimate. It is not a law firm, medical provider, official Disability Evaluation Unit rating, WCAB decision, or guarantee of settlement value.

Optional attorney consultation

After viewing an estimate, a user may choose to request a consultation with a participating law firm. The consultation request is optional. Claim and contact information is shared for that purpose only after the user requests the consultation and provides consent. Requesting a consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not guarantee that a law firm will accept the case.

Our approach to legal information

Educational pages are written to distinguish statutory workers’ compensation benefits from negotiated settlement considerations. California DWC, DIR, Legislature, WCAB regulations, and other official sources are used where practical, and substantive legal-content pages are dated for periodic review.

Important limitation

Claim Calculator Pro provides general educational information, not individualized legal or medical advice. Actual claim outcomes depend on medical evidence, accepted conditions, wages, injury date, apportionment, benefit payments, future treatment, disputed issues, settlement terms, and other case-specific facts.

Educational information only. This page provides general California workers’ compensation information and is not legal or medical advice. Actual benefits, claim value, and settlement terms depend on the facts, medical evidence, and applicable law in an individual case.
