Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Claim Calculator Pro handles information when you use the California workers' compensation claim estimator or request a lawyer consultation.
Information we process
To calculate an estimate, the service may process information you provide about your age, occupation, time since injury, work status, injured body parts, treatment, recovery, and additional health-related issues. If you unlock the full estimate, you may also provide an email address. If you request a lawyer consultation, you provide your name, city, phone number, email address, claim information, and referral consent.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to calculate and display your estimate, operate and protect the service, and, only when you affirmatively request a consultation, handle your lawyer-referral request.
Referral requests
If you request a consultation and provide consent, your contact, claim, and health-related information is transmitted to Claim Calculator Pro by the website and sent by email for referral handling. It may then be shared with a participating workers' compensation law firm so the firm can contact you and determine whether it can assist you. Requesting a consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not guarantee that a law firm will accept your matter.
Storage and retention
The current V1 website is not designed to store claimant intake or referral information in a website database. Referral information is delivered by email and therefore may remain in the applicable email systems and mailboxes until deleted under their normal retention practices. Hosting, security, and email-service systems may also maintain ordinary technical logs or records needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, or comply with legal obligations relating to the service.
Service providers and disclosures
We use hosting and email-delivery service providers to operate the website and transmit referral emails. Those providers may process information as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or in connection with a business transfer as permitted by law.
Sale and advertising use
Claim Calculator Pro does not use the information entered into the estimator for targeted advertising, and the current V1 service is not designed to sell claimant information to data brokers. Lawyer-referral sharing occurs only after the user affirmatively requests a consultation and provides referral consent.
Security
We use reasonable technical and operational measures intended to protect the service, but no internet transmission, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You may use the initial estimator without requesting a lawyer consultation. Referral consent is optional. You may contact us with questions or requests concerning information handled by Claim Calculator Pro. Depending on applicable law, additional privacy rights may apply.
Children
The service is intended for adults evaluating California workers' compensation claims and is not directed to children.
No attorney-client relationship
Using the calculator, providing an email address, or requesting a consultation does not itself create an attorney-client relationship.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version.
